Difference between Veneers, Crowns, and Implants
The major difference is veneers adhere to the front of the tooth. As long as the back of the teeth are intact Veneers can be used without as much preparation or grinding down of your existing tooth. Crowns need more of your existing tooth to be ground down for a proper fit. If the back of the tooth is damaged a crown is a better option. Crowns encompass the entire tooth. A dental implant replaces a missing tooth and is an entirely new tooth but like crowns and veneers, can match your surrounding teeth.
